RCSH 2021-22 Season Update

Following NAPHL league meetings, the RCSH staff has decided to pull the Tier 1 team out of the league. With scheduling changes to major showcases and updated CDC guidelines across multiple states, RCSH staff believes it to be in the best interest of the players and families to stay local. Overall, we will save on average $3-4K with the decrease in travel costs per family, and more importantly this decision will keep us in a safe environment until we have more certainty in traveling.

We know that this will be a letdown to some players and families, but we are committed to making up any lost player exposure with more secure showcases and tournaments. We want to make sure RCSH players are getting every chance to achieve their dreams in the sport of hockey, and we feel at this time this is the best opportunity to do that.

Below is a list of tournaments we have committed to so far. This list is very flexible as the coaching staff may add or subtract showcases/tournaments based on competition and exposure potential.

  • Casper WY Tier 1 & 2 Sept 17th – AAA/AA division
  • Host Labor Day Tournament Tournament to be hosted by RCSH at either Budweiser Events Center or NoCo
  • Fright Fest Oct. 28th weekend – local High School teams, JV Tournament
  • Silver Sticks International – Oct. 14th – 17th – 18UAA division
  • Thanksgiving Invitational hosted by Chaparral – Nov. 24th Top HS teams will be attending – Both varsity & JV teams attending
  • National Bid – if we win CPHL we will play at USA Nationals Omaha, NE April 15th
  • Presidents Day tournament
